Artichoke Heartichoke Dip

Here's what we are making for Thanksgiving today. An appetizer to make your heart stop in it's tracks. It's heavy on cheese and mayo but sooo tasty. 

Ingredients:
  • 2 6.5 ounce jars marinated artichoke hearts, chopped
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup mayo


Directions:
  1. Preheat over to 325 degrees F
  2. In a shallow baking dish mix all of the ingredients
  3. Bake for 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly brown
  4. Serve hot with crackers

  1. There is a wide known 'cooking nazi' community in Russian LJ zone.

    They target unhealthy cooking habits of post-Soviet people, especially using lots of mayonnaise, heat treating cheese and mayonnaise (hence the community name). This provokes a long holy war with numerous 'practical home cooking' communities on the opposite side.

    Regardless of where the truth lies, now I know that Russians are not alone in baking mayo :)
